Welcome to my photography website! I am so happy you're here! I am truly getting out of my comfort zone by starting this blog, but you can't fail if you don't try. I am hoping to add these blog posts to my website as a way to not only grow my business but to share all of the fun I have along the way! Maybe some insight into sessions will even encourage you to book one for yourself or your loved ones!
Career change... say what??
This fall, I jumped feet first into a major career change. For the last 5 years, I taught K-5 Special Education in a local school district. I loved every moment of being with my students, paras, and teaching team. However, my family and I decided it was best if I took a step back to stay home and to find work part-time. That's how I landed in the world of Parent Education! I am loving my time, still with the school district, supporting parents of children birth-kindergarten as they grow. Being home part time with my daughter has been the biggest blessing and I wouldn't change it for the world.
Getting started again
After having my daughter, I struggled to balance photography, working full-time, and being present for my family. Photography, although I love every minute of it, fell through the cracks. Getting to stay home part time has led to me rekindling my love for all things photography. I am loving getting to meet new people and being back behind the camera!
